Music For All

Isis Restaurant and Music Hall isn’t letting the cold weather and such keep it down. With dinning on the patio and lawn, and live music to fill your ears, this is the place to be during the dinner meals. Don’t forget to bring your furry four-legged friends with you as they are welcome as well. During this month stop by to listen to several amazing musicians gracing the patio. The talented artist range from well known in the area to new artists and nationally and regionally recognized artists. Join us for some of the upcoming shows. Tim Easton is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter hitting the road to promote his 14th CD Exposition. Jacob Johnson is an entertainer at heart with his amazing talent at songwriting and guitar.

The guitar is not just an instrument in the hands of Jacob Johnson – it’s his soul-mate.

Unspoken Tradition is a new and original Bluegrass with a number 1 spot on the Bluegrass Today chart. Originally formed as an old-time stringband, Pretty Little Goat writes some powerful music combining traditional and original sounds.

The Grey Eagle is a live music venue featuring performances of all varieties. Stop by and listen to The Get Right Band “Unplugged”. There is a very limited amount of seating for this event so be sure to get tickets early. If by chance you miss the tickets, this show will be live streamed as well. This band has been called infectious and powerful. The Grey Eagle doesn’t just do music. Patio show Brunch of Jokers is for ages 18 and up due to adult subjects and adult language.

Biltmore Estate

The Biltmore Estate is always an amazing and inspiring place to visit, but at Christmas it takes on a whole new magical quality that very few places can compete with. Whether you are wanting to visit in the daytime, or in the evening, Biltmore promises splendors beyond your expectations. During the day explore the Conservatory with beautiful poinsettias all a bloom. If you’re on the good list, sneak a peak at Santa in Antler Hill Village and tell him what you want for Christmas. Or spend the day shopping for all the treasures you want. After (or before) you get your fill of dinner don’t forget to order one (or more) of the many dessert options that are just as beautiful as they are delicious. The Winter Garden will take your breath away with the display of greenery and seasonal plants. The Banquet Hall tree is the tallest tree inside Biltmore with hundreds of lights and ornaments decorating it from top to bottom. Evening at Biltmore begins as soon as the day turns to dusk with the light inside the house and on the Front Lawn come alive. The Christmas Tree on the Front Lawn glitters brightly as you enter the house. A gentle glow surrounds the entrance. The library is one of the most grand rooms in the Biltmore House. The details carved in the wood along side the garland and tree beside a cozy fire seems like a place out of a story book. A picturesque walkway leading from the Winery to the Antler Hill Village is a dream to walk through. Thousands of lights illuminate the trees, paths and buildings in Antler Hill Village.

With each time offering so much it’s hard to choose which you want to enjoy, so why not enjoy both. Biltmore Estates offers deals and discounts so that each visitor gets the most out of their stay. Children 9 and under are free and purchasing your tickets online saves you money too. Military and seniors get a discount of their own.
